Release date: September 19th 2016
Format: Digital Single and Lathe Cut (Edition of 50)
Following on from their critically applauded release ‘Tales of H P Lovecraft’ (with Laurence R Harvey) the Duke St return to base.
Their new single is not an album track but a piece in its own right. It's not the usual artists sign post to a new album, more an exercise in seeing if their aesthetic, sound and how they project music would remain the same utilising more traditional instrumentation and compositional techniques instead of just synths.
It lulls you into a false sense of security with its simple approach but this is complex and sophisticate stuff. Unmistakably DSW.
Digital and 7” Lathe single (hand cut by 3.45) in an edition of 50.

"That is something that remains then for Duke St Workshop: nostalgia for old film tunes, 60's science fiction and playing the musical mood card par excellence." [Vital Weekly]
