Homestead is a very personal exploration into the catharsis of family, sobriety and reconnection with self. Mixing instruments with field recordings of his own children and the Isle of Wight, the album captures a journey back to the homestead through a connected series of musical vignettes.

Jon has any number of collaborations under his belt a Leland Sklar of the double bass he has played everywhere and with all types. At the moment he is in a marriage of sorts with James Yorkston and Suhail Yusuf Khan gracing the global festival stages as ‘Yorkston/Thorne/Khan’

The album will be available exclusively from Rough Trade and direct from the label and artist.
